If you think of a cafe, you'd probably think of pastries, pasta, and light snacks as the food choices they will be offering you alongside their signature coffee drinks. But not this cafe in Marikina. Who would have thought that coffee can also be a perfect drink with barbecue or inihaw?

First, let me talk about how this place really captured me. Their interior, as you saw in the photos, is simple and very straightforward. Dine or chill al fresco style. I knew this place will look best at night and I was right! Glad that my decision to come before it gets dark let me experience this place's cozy and relaxing vibe.

When asked why they named their cafe TAHAN NA CAFE, they said that their goal in putting this cafe up is to give space for people to relax and just be comfortable, just like the phrase TAHAN NA. If you'll translate it in its literal meaning, TAHAN NA means to stop crying. And I think that with the way they made the place look conveyed their goal meaningfully.

They are offering good coffee for a very affordable price. This is one of the things that I like the most about them. As a coffee person, it's good to know a place that sells coffee drinks that will not break the bank for me. And I am pretty sure most people think that way, too.

They are very passionate about making sure that their drinks are of good quality.
